Tom is a J.D. Candidate at Georgetown Law, hailing originally from McGill University with a background in Psychology and Philosophy. Bringing a behaviorally oriented perspective to all of his work, Tom wrote his honors thesis drawing on behavioral psychology to shed light on metaethical moral frameworks. Tom is passionate about using his skills to help others, having worked on human rights law in Cape Town, SA, and as a legal volunteer for a homeless persons’ expungement clinic in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. Intending on pursuing a career at the intersection of behavioral science and the law, Tom is particularly interested in using his background in behavioural science to address complex societal problems at the policy level.
