Tom Spiegler

Tom is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at The Decision Lab. He is interested in the intersection of decision-science and the law, with a focus on leveraging behavioral research to shape more effective public and legal policy. Based in Washington DC, Tom has particular experience working in the financial regulatory sector, first at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and subsequently at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Most recently, Tom has worked at a large international law firm. Tom graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown Law. Prior to law school, Tom attended McGill University where he graduated with First-Class Honors, with majors in Psychology and Philosophy.
