Should governments nudge citizens to donate organs?

Intervention Description

Researchers compared a list of countries with opt-in organ donation programs (where people have to choose/ opt-in to organ donation) versus opt-out programs (where agreeing to donate organ was default option). Results showed that in the countries using the opt-out structure, organ donation rates were close to 90%-100%, while rates in countries with opt-in structure were as low as 5%.
