In Solidarity with Ukraine

Hi there,

It is difficult to find the words to describe how we’re feeling this week, as we watch Vladimir Putin’s horrific assault on Ukraine. We condemn this senseless violence, and our hearts go out to the millions of people affected by this tragedy — both those in Ukraine and their loved ones abroad. We are also angry on behalf of the many people in Russia who did not want this conflict, who are also facing hardship as a result of their leader’s actions.

In the face of suffering on this scale, it is all too easy to feel powerless. That’s why we are using this week’s newsletter to encourage you, our readers, to take action in whatever ways are accessible to you.

Below, we’re sharing some ways you can support Ukraine directly. Give what you can, and consider how this urge to help can also be channeled in your own community. We cannot stop what is happening, but we can do our best to reduce harm and create a positive impact for those around us.

In solidarity,
