Intervention · Education

Intervention Description

The Canadian Student Loan Payments (CLSP) were able to decrease the likelihood of students defaulting on payments by redesigning reminder messages to make the information more attractive and appear as a “call to action.” This approach was replicated from the experiments and studies by Behavioural Insights Team(UK). Sending an updated reminder messages to students have since been incorporated in the standard practice by CLSP.
