Price discounting and healthy beverage purchase


Healthy beverage purchase was examined through 5 different interventions: discounting zero-calorie beverages by 10%, the monetary discount and discount messaging, messaging comparing calorie information, messaging about exercise equivalent information, and messaging of both calorie and exercise information. The discount and discount messaging was most effective at increasing the purchase of zero-calorie beverages.
