Intervention

Completing company registration forms

/
Denmark

In Denmark, starting some companies can require the submission of complicated forms. Unfortunately, the forms are often submitted incorrectly or incompletely leading to hours of extra work on the part of Danish Business Authority employees. In order to encourag proper submission of all required paperwork, submission forms were reconstructed with careful consideration for human behavior. Business owners were required to sign after ticking a box stating that all forms had been enclosed. Near the signature area a line warned about having to resubmit the paperwork should it be completed incorrectly and a number was offered should there be any questions on how to fill out the form properly. Unfortunately, these interventions did not significantly reduce the number of improperly submitted forms .
