Faisal Naru has extensive experience in the public and private sector. He is an expert in strategy, public policy, behavioural insights, institutional reform, politics, international development, and setting up and delivering social and economic development programmes globally. He is also a accomplished leader and senior manager in running teams and corporate organisations. He currently supports the Executive Director to monitor, coordinate and provide strategic advice in the day to day management of the Directorate and the Director’s office in line with the OECD Secretary General’s Strategic Objectives. Faisal is a former member of the UK Cabinet Office, Chief Adviser to Government of Viet Nam, & leadership team of a global development consultancy. He advises a number of Government leaders on reform and improvements. He began his career heading up a charity tackling social mobility. He graduated from the University of Oxford. He has undertaken Executive Seminars with Harvard, Wharton and London Business School as part of the OECD Emerging Leaders initiative and is a mentor in OECD and Cabinet Office Alumni.
