Elizabeth Wood is an Associate Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at McGill University. In her role as Associate Dean, Academic Programs at McGill (Faculty of Education) from 2007 – 2017 she was responsible for the design, development, accreditation and governance of academic programs. In her teaching and research Dr. Wood specializes in teacher education, philosophy of education, arts education, and social justice education. She holds undergraduate degrees in music and visual art, a Graduate Diploma in Education (Education in the Arts), a Masters in Philosophy of Education, and a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from McGill.
